Absent

If your child is sick, please allow him or her rest and time to get better! We will catch up together!

 

When a student is absent, our absent monitor places the absent folder on his or her desk.  Here, a neighbor helps collect and organize all papers that are passed out throughout the day.  This way, when the student returns, every missed paper will be ready.  Depending on the classtime missed, the student is given appropriate time to make up the work.  It can be completed during free time, during recess, or after school if my assistance is needed!

 

If your child is absent during the week, he or she should already have the assignments recorded.  I always encourage getting a head start so when they return to school, the extra work doesn't become too much.  See the Homework page for more details about their homework.
